This past weekend's Battle on the Border was a fantastic event with several South Carolina State records going down, some of which had been on the books for close to 20 years. Todd Talford walked away with the Best Bencher award and actually had the second highest WILKS score overall in full power.  Chris Clark was also incredibly impressive with a top 3 WILKS score as well.  Despite consistent strong performers from both our men and women lifters, NC was able to narrowly escape with the win.

The Battle on the Border will be moving to Fort Mill, SC next year.  This will be our tenth Battle and I would love to show the region how far our State has come during the last 10 years.  I have been informed that Georgia and Team Rohr will hopefully be bringing a large group of lifters to the Battle. The last time they showed up with a full team, Georgia won it.  NOT THIS YEAR.  Prepare to bring your "A" game.  I will be strategizing a plan for succeess.

The results have been posted on both the Battle on the Border site as well as this site.  The records have also been updated.  Congratulations to all of our lifters.  Great job!
